Seatbelt webbing deteriorates over time due to UV exposure, friction, body oils, cleaning products and general wear. How to Send your Belt for Re-Webbing

The re-webbing process is straightforward. To have your seatbelt re-webbed and recertified, please send us the following:

 

  1. The seatbelt itself (removed from the vehicle).
  2. The seating position it came from (e.g., driver's front right).
  3. Your vehicle registration (rego) number.

 

This information is required by NZTA for certification purposes and must accompany every order. You must also include a completed Re-Webbing Form with your belt. Orders received without the form cannot be processed, so please ensure it is included before sending.
